RoamingLetters is our shared travel journal - stories, gear picks, and honest recommendations from a couple who plans trips around food, altitude, and the next stamp on the passport.
Each post is our attempt at capturing places the way we actually experienced them: the food we couldn’t stop talking about, the missed trains, the small logistical wins, and the gear that survived. Whether you’re planning your own trip or just here to travel by scroll - welcome.
Hi, we’re Karan & Divya Gaba - a travel couple based in India, chasing food, flights, and everything in between.

Techie by day, adrenaline chaser everywhere else. The kind of person who packs a bag at a moment’s notice and starts researching the next scuba spot at 2 AM. I have a thing for jumping out of airplanes, leaping off cliffs, and exploring the vibrant world beneath the sea. If a trip involves altitude, water, or something that goes fast, I’m in.

Aviation professional and full-time instructor - she trains the people who actually keep planes in the sky. Foodie in every free moment: if a city has a signature dish or an unmarked local joint, she’ll find it before we’ve even unpacked. Her flying background also means she’s the one who actually reads the seat map before we book.
RoamingLetters is our chronicle of the trips that shaped us - and a resource for anyone planning theirs. Expect gear that’s actually been tested, food you can trust, and itineraries built the way we’d plan our own.
P.S. Karan will get us to the cliff edge. She’ll find us the best meal within a 2 km radius. It works.
